Fiber Linear Density Tester

Application

Fiber Linear Density Tester has been developed to measure the fiber linear density based on the string vibration principle. It measures and displays the linear density of single tested fiber, and also calculates and displays the mean value, and the variation coefficient of the tested fibers. The printer connected with the apparatus prints the measured results when it is needed.

The apparatus is controlled by a microprocessor. It works according to the self-oscillation principle and measures with high precise. It is easily operated and the operating errors can be reduced.

The apparatus accords with the demands of the national standard GB/T16256-1996, the international standard ISO1973-1995, and the standardized measuring method of BISFA. It is used to measure the linear density of the fiber and can be used widely in synthetic fiber manufactories, fiber-testing inspection bureau and scientific research institutions, etc.
